Domus Lascaris.

We are shadows trapped in silent plots, invisible threads that weave the boundaries of our being. We move within grids we cannot see, but feel on our skin, while the world whispers predetermined paths, clear separations between light and darkness, peace and storm. Yet, what happens when the form cracks? When the soul stumbles and rejects the imposed order?

That's where the fracture is born, the beat that breaks the silence, the gesture that challenges the line and opens itself to the possible. My works narrate this impulse, this fragile dance between oppression and freedom. Figures that sway, that resist, that allow themselves to be carried away or attempt an escape. Some close their eyes not to see, others open them wide and, trembling, choose to deviate.

Suspended between fear and desire, between the weight of habit and the call of the unknown, we discover ourselves as tightrope walkers on a fine line, always balancing between who we are and who we could become.

This exhibition is a threshold: an invitation to recognize the hidden cages and to ask ourselves if we are truly ready to break them. Because freedom is not a destination, but the courage of a step beyond the line.
