About

I was born in Voghera, on 24 April 1956.
Since I was a child I have been attracted and fascinated by drawing, thanks to which I distinguished myself starting from elementary school and then achieving excellent results in middle school.

Although the art teachers had recommended to my parents to direct my studies towards the Brera Academy of Art so as not to let me waste what they believed was my small but natural talent, my father and mother came to the conclusion that it would be it would be more appropriate for me to obtain a "more serious" diploma, which would allow me a solid job.

Thus it was that I found myself studying subjects diametrically opposed to those for which I showed the most aptitude, subjects that were not at all stimulating compared to the gratifications I granted myself by dedicating myself to drawing or painting.
Once I finished my studies I met the man who would become my husband and after a few years I found myself a wife, mother of three children and Piedmontese, or rather, Andezenese by adoption.

During the years in which I decided to dedicate myself totally to my family and to my collaboration in my husband's winery, I never stopped carving out small spaces of time during which I could express myself with canvases and colors, naturally with uncertain and fluctuating results.

When my children grew up and began to become autonomous and independent, thanks also to the sincere encouragement of my husband, I found a way to start attending art courses, where I learned the techniques of drawing and painting, obtaining diplomas at the Accademia del Giglio of Florence and at the studio of a well-known painter and art master from Turin.

Portraits and figurative art have always been my favorite subjects; the techniques that I have used up to now, however, continue to be constantly evolving.
